The Petzl Ascension is a tried and tested rope ascender which is loved by aid climbers, cavers and mountaineers alike. It has an ergonomic molded handle with a wide opening, allowing you a comfortable yet powerful grip - even when you are wearing thick gloves. You'll find that the safety catch is totally integrated into the body of the ascender to help prevent snagging, and there is an upper hole to let you clip a carabiner around the rope.
