Blue Ice's Aero Lite 19cm ice screw is exceptionally light at just 78g. Its hybrid aluminium and steel construction balances weight and durability. The Aero Lite's hanger is colour-coded for easy racking and can take two carabiners for neater anchors. The large tube diameter gives secure placements in existing holes. The supplied Aero cap is easily removed with gloves and has a clippable loop so it can be racked on an ice clipper. The small vents mean leftover ice can drain out effectively. The 19cm length is perfect for consolidated snow-covered ice and for use as a glacier anchor.
