The Magic Ring is Grivels innovative solution for a carabiner-free Prusik loop. Designed to replace the traditional Prusik loop and carabiner, this superlight alternative is made with a 6mm aramid cord and an aluminium forged toggle. One end of the loop is girth-hitched to the harness; the other end is wrapped around the rope as you would a normal Prusik loop; and then a metal toggle is passed through the secure end loop. Magic Ring is a simple to use and highly practical addition to any alpine mountaineers rack.
