The Edelrid Zodiac 3R is the first recycled climbing helmet: the outer shell is made of polyamide from recycled Edelrid climbing ropes, and the expanded polystyrene (EPS) inner shell is recycled too. Its hybrid structure increases defence against side impacts without compromising safety, comfort, or ventilation. The Zodiac 3R features a large ventilation area to ensure continuous airflow and help climbers keep a cool head in heated situations. The fit is comfortable and easily adjustable thanks to the Wing Fit system, which allows quick and precise adjustment for all head shapes. The chin strap buckle is on the side for comfort during movement, and the padding is removable and washable. The whole cradle folds into the helmet to reduce the pack size for streamlined packing.
