Petzl's Sarken crampons with Leverlock Universal Bindings excel on technical mountaineering routes. The 12-point configuration includes T-shaped vertical and serrated front points, for excellent penetration of ice and superior grip in snow compared with regular vertical front points. Equipped with Petzl's Leverlock Universal binding system, the Sarkens can be used as automatic or semi-automatic crampons with B2 or B3 rated boots by changing between the two toe bails included. Anti-balling plates prevent snow build-up underfoot to keep you moving. Petzls AlpenAdapt technology lets you adapt the crampon for different climbing disciplines and mountain terrains. You can replace all the crampon's components - sold separately - including the front and rear sections and bails with other models.
