Ortovox's Rescue Set Diract is ideal for skiers and snowboarders new to the backcountry. The kit contains the three essentials of avalanche safety equipment: a Diract transceiver, an Alu 240 probe, and a Badger Shovel. Lightweight, reliable, and intuitive, Ortovox made them easy to use in stressful situations. The Diract transceiver is a digital three-antenna device with Bluetooth connectivity and Smart-Antenna-Technology. When transmitting, the unit switches to the best antenna for searching transceivers to pick up. As a result, you get up to double the range and are faster to find. With a full-graphic screen, the Diract's display is clear even in extreme light conditions. It has audio and visual support for broad and fine search. In the event of a second avalanche when searching, the Diract will switch from search to transmit mode to help you be found faster.
