The Edelrid Guide Assist Pro Dry is an 8mm rope with a dynamic safety reserve for support and belaying a second climber in exposed areas. It is also ideal for traversing glaciers. It is lightweight and comes in a transportable 30-metre length. This rope is primarily for confidence and guidance and is not suitable for use as a single rope or for belaying a lead climber. A Thermo Shield treatment means it feels pleasant to handle and 3D lap coiling enables instant use without tangles. Thanks to the Pro Dry finish, it is permanently water repellent and dirt resistant which increases the rope life.
