The Edelrid Guide Assist Pro Dry is an 8mm rope with a dynamic safety reserve for support and belaying a second climber in exposed areas. It is also useful for traversing glaciers. It is primarily for confidence and guidance and is not suitable for use as a single rope or for belaying a lead climber. Thanks to the Pro Dry finish, it is permanently water repellent and dirt resistant which increases the rope life. A Thermo Shield treatment means it feels pleasant to handle and 3D lap coiling enables instant use without tangles. It is lightweight and comes in a transportable 20-metre length.
