This set includes DMM's Mantis belay device and Shadow HMS Screwgate Carabiner. Together, this reliable duo have you well-equipped for belaying indoors and out. The DMM Mantis is a versatile belay device compatible with single, half, and twin ropes. It has grooves on one side, creating regular and high friction belay modes for control with different rope diameters and smooth abseiling on static ropes. Hot forging and CNC technology shape the internal structure to maximise performance. It is ideal if you're looking for a single belay device to cover all your climbing activities. Weighing just 70g, DMM's Shadow HMS is a large yet lightweight locking carabiner with a hot forged I-beam construction. An excellent all-rounder, its short gate maximises the gate opening, and the wide basket fits three clove hitches. This makes it perfect for belay masterpoints, Italian hitches and as a belay carabiner.
