Petzl Summit Evo Ice Axe - Orange - 66cm

Petzl's Summit Evo ice axe is optimised for classic mountaineering. The aluminium shaft curves gently at the neck, offering clearance on steeper terrain. The forged and well-balanced head is comfortable to hold, while the pick gives excellent penetration in firm snow and ice. The Summit Evo's steel adze is tilted for efficient step carving. At the base of the shaft, the rubberised grip offers a better hold and is warmer than bare metal. The grip stays flush to the rest of the shaft for plunging when needed.
