Petzl's Quark Hammer is a versatile and modular ice axe for everything from mountaineering to technical winter climbing. The included Ice pick can be fitted with pick weights and gives bomber placements in various kinds of ice. The large hammer is perfect for hammer-in protection. Equipped with Trigrest and Griprest hand rests, they support the hand for an efficient hold. You can fold in the Griprest pommel, making it easier to plunge the axe into snow. The hydroformed shaft makes the middle of the shaft comfortable to hold when on lower-angled terrain. The Quark is compatible with Petzl's Pur'Ice, Dry, and Pur'Dry picks (sold separately) for climbing versatility. The Quark Hammer pairs perfectly with the Petzl Quark Adze ice axe.
