The Petzl Nomic ice axe sets the standard for technical winter climbing. Balanced and equipped with removable pick weights, it offers an exceptional swing. Fitted with Petzl's Pur'Ice pick but compatible with Dry and Pur'Dry picks, it enables efficient placement in all terrains. Designed with the steepest lines in mind, the Nomic achieves outstanding comfort through the ergonomic Griprest handrest, which adjusts to three positions to accommodate all hand sizes. The hydroformed shaft makes the middle of the shaft comfortable on lower-angled terrain. Thanks to its modular design, the Nomic can be adjusted for mixed climbing and dry tooling.
