The shaft curves for efficient anchoring but is straight enough for planting into snow and comfortable walking. The adjustable and removable Trigrest pommel gives support when swinging. The Sum'Tec Hammer's versatile modular design includes an interchangeable pick and hammer. This means the Sum'Tec can be set up to suit whatever the day demands. The Sum'Tec Hammer pairs well with Petzl's Sum'Tec Adze ice axe.
