Setting a new standard for backcountry versatility, Black Diamond's Venom LT Tech is a capable lightweight ice axe. The modular Tech LT pick delivers solid hooks on ice, turf, and mixed terrain. Its ergonomic aluminium head is comfortable in the hand. The feature that sets the Venom LT Tech Hammer apart from the crowd is its compatibility with Black Diamonds's Transfer avalanche shovel blade (sold separately). This means you no longer need to carry an avalanche shovel shaft, saving precious grams and keeping you moving. The shovel attachment doubles as a clipping point for leashes. The Venom LT Tech Hammer's removable steel hammer also works as an alpine adze. The grooved aluminium shaft and moveable Alpine FlickLock pommel give optimal grip without the weight of a moulded handle. Additionally, the steel spike is removable. Choose the Venom LT Tech for ski mountaineering or fast and light alpine missions.
