Petzl's Reverso is a lightweight, durable, multi-functional belay device for single or multi-pitch climbing and mountaineering. Used in guide mode, it provides auto-block belaying directly off the anchor. For enhanced control, the V-shaped grooves on one edge create multiple friction modes to give adjustable stopping power when lowering or abseiling. The rope slot's rounded design limits wear and prevents sharp edges from developing, extending the Reverso's lifespan. The small auto-block release eyelet fits any Petzl locking carabiner or sling for lowering in guide mode.
